The Cat comes back tonight:
"The Cats are ready to roll, with Barberio, Savard and Brannon back from NHL camps," that's the word from Danny Flynn, the Head Coach and Director of Hockey Operations.
"The launch of the 5 pm Tail Gate Party is in place, all systems are go for great entertainment," is the word from General Manager Bill Shurman.
"Valmond Bourque's tux is cleaned, his voice is primed, centre ice preparations are set for ignition," says coordinator Brad LeBlanc.
"The Cat is cleaned, everything is ready behind the scenes," is Game Day Supervisor, Lloyd Kay's comment.
Its fever pitch excitement as Home Opening Weekend begins with the Wildcats and the Rocket doing battle starting shortly after 7 tonight.
14th season begins with Special Puck Drop:
Mr. Robert Irving, President of the Moncton Wildcats, along with fan representatives will participate in the official puck drop at tonight's game.
The long time fan is being kept as a surprise but is guaranteed to bring a standing ovation when introduced. It will be another of the special moments in Wildcats history we begin another exciting home season of the CHL's best franchise.
Game day tickets at Coliseum Box Office:
Single game tickets for tonight's game and Sunday afternoon are available from 10 to 6 at the Coliseum Box Office or on line from tickets.moncton.ca or go the the ticket icon on our website: www.moncton-wildcats.com , click on the tickets icon and you'll be assured a seat. The price is $15.50 for adults, $13.50 for seniors, $12.00 for students and $11.00 for children 12 and under. Be sure you have yours!

Line up set for Cats Cup:
The 72 participants for tomorrow's Cats Cup have been selected; the names and age categories are in this morning's edition of the Times & Transcript can be seen on our website or on the Downtown Moncton Centre Ville website at: www.downmoncton.nb.ca. Competition on Main Street starts at 9am on six special designed Ball Hockey rinks.
Members of the Wildcats will be on hand to offer tips to the young players.
