Fort Worth Cats News Release

The Fort Worth Cats have launched their CATS WIN (Whip Inflation Now) program. The program is a multi-faceted marketing campaign which is the brainchild of Cats' owner Carl Bell. It includes special ticket offers as well as other benefits for Cats' fans as they battle the ever increasing cost of gas and other necessities. And the Cats believe that this is an AFFORDABLE necessity!

The first promotion involved fans bringing is their gasoline receipts to the Cats' box office in return for two tickets (best available seats). Panther City Bicycles paid for the two best available seats to the game on July 7 and will do so for every Monday game for the remainder of the regular season.

"The program is centered around an attendance goal of 4,500 fans per game this season," said Cats owner Carl Bell. "If we reach that goal, then our fans WIN because the Cats promise to hold the line on ticket prices for 2009. These are challenging times economically. We want fans to know we are trying our best to help them out in a variety of ways with this program. We have proven we can WIN on and off the field... now we want our fans to WIN too."

On Wednesday, July 9, the Cats will offer The Best Family Deal for only $29.99. This special package includes four tickets as well as drinks, hot dogs and Cats' caps.

This Thursday, July 10, the Cats will begin phase three of the CATS WIN program when the team discounts parking with a "THREE AND ONE COUNT." The Cats will offer FREE parking for every Thursday home game for the remainder of the regular season when fans show a gas receipt to park in the $3 lot... PLUS $1 off the price of any ticket... that adds up to $4, or ONE GALLON OF GAS!

Come to LaGrave Field hungry on Thursday, July 17, as the Cats will offer an ALL YOU CAN EAT special for fans that night.

In addition, every Tuesday is Fort Worth Star-Telegram Press Pass Night where all Gold Press Pass holders receive two free tickets to that night's game.

So the Cats are asking fans to save those gas receipts - come out on Thursdays, and take advantage of free parking - and remember Thursday, July 17 - it's the All You Can Eat Special!
