
Sports offense stagnant in loss

Shreveport-Bossier Captains News Release
Dustin Bolton pitched only his second career complete game as St. Paul shutout the Shreveport Sports Wednesday 3-0. Bolton kept the Sports off balanced the entire game, allowing just three hits and striking out just three in the victory. Shreveport had only one base runner reach second base and that came in the first inning on a two-out double by Ron Fenwick. Thad Markray pitched eight innings and took the loss while striking out nine. Markray only gave up one earned run in the loss. The final game of the series between Shreveport and St. Paul will be Thursday at Fair Grounds Field. Game time 7:05 with the broadcast on AM 1130, KWKH.
