(Central Islip, N.Y., June 19, 2010) - With just days remaining before the Thursday, June 24 deadline to vote for Atlantic League All-Stars, ballot tabulations are too close to call. The Atlantic League All-Star Game presented by T-Mobile will be held at Suffolk County Sports Park on Tuesday, July 6 at 7:05 p.m. and this week offers fans their final chance to vote their favorite Ducks position players to the squad.

Fans can cast their ballots online at www.atlanticleague.com, or liducks.com. Fans may also vote at any T-Mobile location in their area via internet kiosks. Fan voting will determine the position players for the Freedom and Liberty Division squads, while coaches, management, and media will determine the pitchers. Fans will also have the opportunity to "write-in" a candidate for each division.

Among the Ducks featured on the ballot are infielders Ray Navarrete, Juan Francia, Matt Cavagnaro and Matt Padgett. Joining them are catcher Robinson Cancel, designated hitter John Rodriguez, utility player Erick Monzon and outfielders Matt Esquivel, Johnny Hernandez and Dustan Mohr. Last season, the Ducks featured six All-Stars representing the Liberty Division, which was played in Newark, New Jersey.

The Long Island Ducks play their home games at Suffolk County Sports Park in Central Islip, NY and are in their 11th season of play in the Atlantic League of Professional Baseball. Through 10 seasons, the team has averaged 6,077 fans per game in their 6,002-seat park. For further information, visit www.liducks.com or call 631-940-DUCK.
