Casey Bryant Hired as Broadcaster, Media Relations Manager

EVERETT, Wash. - The Everett Silvertips, proud eight-time U.S. Division champion and two-time Western Conference champion of the Western Hockey League (WHL), have hired Casey Bryant to serve as the team's Broadcasting and Media Relations Manager.

Bryant is an award-winning play-by-play broadcaster whose prior credits include the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (NAHL), Sacred Heart University Pioneers (NCAA D1), Jersey Hitmen (NCDC) and New York Apple Core (EHL). A 2017 graduate of Marist College, Bryant also worked as a production assistant for MSG Networks for four years, editing on-air promotions for the New York Rangers, New Jersey Devils and other MSG flagship teams.

Broadcasts of the Everett Silvertips can be found on CHL TV or on the radio at 1380 AM and FM 95.3 (KRKO).

TIPS IN THE NHL

After selections on Jul. 24 for Niko Huuhtanen (Tampa Bay) and Olen Zellweger (Anaheim), the Everett Silvertips have elevated 29 players to be drafted by NHL clubs, including ten in the previous four years. Last season, three Silvertips were selected in the draft - Gage Goncalves (Tampa Bay) in the second round, Kasper Puutio (Florida) in the fifth round, and Ronan Seeley (Carolina) in the seventh round. Entering the 2021-22 season, their 19th in the WHL, the Silvertips have helped promote 20 players to make their NHL debut.

ON THE ROAD: The Silvertips visit the Seattle Thunderbirds Friday, Oct. 15 for the first leg of a home-and-home.

PINK THE RINK: Join the Tips at Angel of the Winds Arena, Oct. 16 at 6:05 p.m. for "Pink the Rink" night benefitting breast cancer awareness

Jerseys worn during "Pink the Rink" will be auctioned off during the game, with part of the proceeds of the auction and tickets benefitting the Providence Comprehensive Breast Center.
