Carter Hutton Returns from Rockford

(Toledo, OH) - The Toledo Walleye and Head Coach Nick Vitucci announced today that goaltender Carter Hutton has been assigned to the Walleye from the Rockford IceHogs of the American Hockey League.

Hutton served as the backup for former Toledo Walleye goaltender Alec Richards on Saturday night. Carter entered the game against Peoria and turned aside all eight shots he faced over the final 18:44 of a 5-2 loss. Carter is 0-1-0-0 this season with Toledo.

Hutton started 22 games last year with the Worcester Sharks and four games with Adirondack the year before. Last year, Hutton posted a record of 11-7-2 with a 3.01 goals against average and a .902 save percentage

The Toledo Walleye will return home on Wednesday, November 9 vs. Chicago at the Huntington Center. The game is a special 10:30 a.m. start time for the School Day Celebration. Fans can call (419) 725-WALL or visit www.toledowalleye.com for more information.
