
ECHL Announces Fines, Suspensions

PRINCETON, N.J. - The ECHL on Monday announced the following fines and suspensions.
Elmira's Devin fined, suspended
Elmira's Mike Devin has been suspended for four games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #46, South Carolina at Elmira, on Oct. 28.
Devin was assessed a match penalty under Rule #53.5 at 6:33 of the second period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Devin missed Elmira's game against South Carolina on Oct. 29 and will miss Elmira's games at Trenton (Nov. 4), vs. Kalamazoo (Nov. 5) and vs. Gwinnett (Nov. 9).
Elmira's Larocque fined, suspended
Elmira's Mario Larocque has been suspended for three games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #46, South Carolina at Elmira, on Oct. 28.
Larocque was assessed a game misconduct for physical abuse of officials under Rule #40.4 - Category III, at 13:01 of the third period.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Larocque missed Elmira's game against South Carolina on Oct. 29 and will miss Elmira's game at Trenton on Nov. 4 and vs. Kalamazoo on Nov. 5.
Alaska's Cox fined, suspended
Alaska's Ethan Cox has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #51, Alaska at Utah, on Oct. 28.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Cox missed Alaska's game at Utah on Oct. 29 and will miss Alaska's game against Bakersfield on Nov. 2.
Wheeling's Dame-Malka fined, suspended
Wheeling's Olivier Dame-Malka has been suspended for one game and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #52, Gwinnett at Wheeling, on Oct. 28.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
Dame-Malka missed Wheeling's game against Trenton on Oct. 29.
Wheeling's DiDiomete fined, suspended
Wheeling's Devin DiDiomete has been suspended for two games and fined an undisclosed amount under Rule #28 - Supplementary Discipline, as a result of his actions in ECHL Game #62, Trenton at Wheeling, on Oct. 29.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement between the ECHL and the Professional Hockey Players' Association, player fines collected by the ECHL are given to the PHPA for its ECHL Player's Hardship Fund.
DiDiomete will miss Wheeling's games against Kalamazoo on Nov. 4 and at Trenton on Nov. 5.
