
Carolina Signs Dual-Threat Player Brock Lutes

GREENSBORO- Brock Lutes (6'3, 235) joins the Carolina Cobras after his rookie season with the IFL's Screaming Eagles in 2017 as a linebacker. Prior to his debut in arena football, Brock attended rookie training camps as a wide receiver for the Denver Broncos, San Francisco 49ers, and the Minnesota Vikings.
In 2011, he signed a football letter of intent with Washington State in 2011 before opting to go and play two years of JUCO basketball at Iowa Western Community College (2011-12) and Clackamas Community College (2012-13). Following his time in JUCO, Lutes transferred to Bemidji State in 2013 to play basketball his remaining two years in college.
Lutes is a Newberg, Oregon native and graduated Newberg High School. He was a highly recruited two-sport athlete, in both football and basketball.
