
Carolina Adds Defensive Back Keith Lewis

GREENSBORO- Keith Lewis (6'1, 200) signs with the Carolina Cobras for his first season in arena football. From 2014-2016 Lewis got a taste of the NFL with 5 different teams (Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New York Jets, San Diego Chargers, Kansas City Chiefs, and the Detroit Lions). In 2017, Keith played one season with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers in the Canadian Football League.
Lewis attended college at Virginia-Lynchburg where he had 11 career interceptions, five returned for touchdowns with 29 pass deflections and 3 fumble recoveries in two years. He was the first VUL player, in 127-year history, to be invited to play in the Medal of Honor All-Star game (recorded 5 tackles) and started in the SC Collegiate All-Star game. Lewis attended the Richmond Pro Day and ran a 4.45 40-yard dash.
Lewis is a native of Chicago, IL and graduated from Marie Sklodowska Curie Metropolitan High School.
