Huntsville Havoc News Release
HUNTSVILLE, AL - Huntsville Havoc goaltender, Matt Carmichael, has returned to the team after playing in two games for the Pensacola Ice Pilots of the ECHL this past weekend.
Pensacola was short after having both goalies called up to the AHL. Carmichael made the seven hour trip on Saturday and the game was delayed an hour until he arrived. He helped the Ice Pilots beat the Bakersfield Condors 2-1 after making 48 saves. Pensacola then fell to Bakersfield 5-1 on Sunday afternoon.
The Havoc also resigned former UAH defenseman, Ryan Brown, to a 5-game tryout. He will make the trip to Jacksonville for Tuesday's game. He played in one game for the Havoc earlier this season and was +2.
