On Wednesday, Feb. 7th, prior to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers' 7:30 p.m. home game against the Worcester Sharks, a Sports and Entertainment Career Fair will be held at the Arena at Harbor Yard from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Fans are invited to arrive early and bring their resumes, as prospective employers, many from the professional sports world, will be on hand. A ticket for the career fair and the game is just $20 for fans who reserve their tickets by Monday, Feb. 5th (tickets are $25 thereafter). Call Rob Kirsch at 334-4625 to reserve your ticket for a possible job opportunity and an exciting night of hockey.
Among those scheduled to have representatives at the Arena (subject to change): Bridgeport Sound Tigers, Sports Center of Connecticut, New York Islanders, Arena at Harbor Yard, American Hockey League, WFAN Sports Radio, New York Mets, New York Knicks, New Jersey Nets, New York Dragons, Madison Square Garden, Fitness Edge, Hartford Wolf Pack, Connecticut Defenders, Bridgeport Bluefish, New Haven Cutters, New Britain Rock Cats, Long Island Ducks, Danbury Ice Arena, CenterPlate, Springfield Falcons, Cox Radio, Octagon, Radio Disney (Hartford), CTWorks, Wirz & Associates, Nerds To Go and Fairfield County Sports Commission.
