AHL announces suspension

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. ... The American Hockey League today announced that Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins goaltender Jeff Drouin-Deslauriers has been suspended for four (4) regular-season games as a result of his actions during an AHL game vs. the Bridgeport Sound Tigers on Jan. 27.

Drouin-Deslauriers received a game misconduct for physical abuse of an official under AHL Rule 41.3 during the first period of the game.

Drouin-Deslauriers will miss the Penguins' games on Friday (Feb. 2) at Norfolk; Saturday (Feb. 3) vs. Hamilton; Feb. 7 at Philadelphia and Feb. 9 vs. Portland.
