Madison, WI - The Madison Capitols have announced the acquisition of 17-year-old right-winger *Chris Sarault* (Moncton, N.B., Canada) from the Omaha Lancers.

Born in Denver, Colo. but raised in Canada, the right-handed shooting Sarault played this past season with the Colorado Thunderbirds U16 team in the U16 Tier 1 Elite Hockey League. He recorded 12 points to go along with 46 penalty minutes.

Standing at 5-feet-10-inches tall and weighing 161 pounds, Sarault was an integral part of his team's success, winning the Tier 1 Elite League Playoff championship, Colorado state tournament championship, and Rocky Mountain District championship before finishing as runners-up in the national tournament.

Sarault is the son of former 1991 Montreal Canadiens draftee Yves Sarault, who played 106 games in the NHL for six different teams from 1994-2002.

The Madison Capitols will participate in the USHL Draft tonight and Tuesday, May 5-6. Phase 1 begins at 8 p.m. CT. Updates can be seen on the Capitols official twitter, @MadCapsHockey.
