Capital BlueCross, Fightins Reach Multi-Year Agreement

The Reading Fightins have announced that the organization and Capital BlueCross have extended their partnership with a new multi-year agreement.

Highlighting the sponsorship is the Capital BlueCross "Live Fearless" Outstanding Student Program. The unique incentive-based program is designed to recognize and reward hard-working students, giving them an opportunity to celebrate their achievements with their families at America's Classic Ballpark. As part of the program, each student will receive two tickets to the game, a pre-game meet and greet with Fightin Phils players, individual recognition during a pre-game ceremony, and a special award from the Crazy Hot Dog Vendor. Also, for each ticket purchased through the Capital BlueCross "Live Fearless" Outstanding Student Program, the school receives $1 back.

Capital BlueCross will also be presenting fans the Capital BlueCross "Live Fearless" Phunland and Birthday Party Fun Zone in Tompkins VIST Bank Plaza. Phunland is a kids-themed area of FirstEnergy Stadium and features fun activities that get kids moving like the giant slide, moon bounce, speed pitch, and mini-golf.

That is what makes this a Hall-of-Fame organization in our eyes, and in the hearts and minds of every fan."

Along with the new elements of their partnership, Capital BlueCross will continue to sponsor the Rt. 61 Stadium Marquee sign outside of FirstEnergy Stadium and the annual 222 Showcase Exhibition Game between the Double-A Reading Fightin Phils and Triple-A Lehigh Valley IronPigs.

Celebrating the 65th Season of Baseball at America's Classic Ballpark, the Fightins kick off their home season on Friday, April 17th at Fightins Opening Night when they host the Richmond Flying Squirrels, Double-A affiliate of the 2014 World Series Champion San Francisco Giants. The first 3000 adults 15 & over will receive a 65th Season of Baseball at America's Classic Ballpark Fleece Blanket thanks to CJ's Tire and Automotive Services and VF Outlet. One lucky fan will also win a trip for two to Phillies Spring Training 2016 thanks to White Star Tours & Travel Center.
