Sioux Falls Canaries News Release

Sioux Falls, SD - The Sioux Falls Canaries will introduce a new program, The Canaries Nonprofit of the Night, at the Birdcage this summer. The program will highlight and bring a nonprofit organization to the ballpark at each of the Canaries 48 regular season home games.

The organization may set up a booth in the Community Corner located inside the front gate of the ballpark. The nonprofit can share information, educate fans and recruit volunteers before the game and through the third inning. They will also receive up to twenty tickets to watch the game and enjoy some much-deserved time off.

Funding for this special program is made possible due to First PREMIER Bank/PREMIER Bankcard's presenting sponsorship of the 2006 Canaries season. "A huge part of what makes Canaries games special is the sense of community fans feel at the ballpark," said Canaries President John Kuhn. "We have a commitment to making the Sioux Empire a better place to live and with PREMIER's help this program will do just that."

For more information on the Canaries Nonprofit of the Night, contact John Kuhn of the Sioux Falls Canaries by calling 333-0179.
