
Spring Training Workout Moves Indoors for Today

St. Joseph, MO-After a very smooth first day of workouts, the Blacksnakes second day of Spring Training had a hitch right off the bat.
The rains overnight and forecasted for today have moved the 'Snakes indoors for workouts today. Those workouts will take place at Hardball, which is located at 603 N. Belt Highway, behind Office Depot and facing the East Hills Library.
Even though the workouts are in tight quarters, fans are still encouraged and able
The team still plans to workout at Phil Welch for the rest of Spring Training, weather permitting.
*** Also of note, Manager Chris Carminucci will be speaking to the kids of the YMCA After-School Program three days this week. Each engagement will last around 30 minutes.

Individual game tickets are now on sale for the 2006 Blacksnakes season. Fans can purchase tickets at www.stjoeblacksnakes.com or by calling the office at (816) 279-6777.
The Blacksnakes season begins on the road Friday, May 12, at the Sioux Falls Canaries. The team will be on the road for the first week before opening the home schedule Friday, May 19th, against those same Sioux Falls Canaries at 7:05pm.
