
St. Joe and Fort Worth Suspended By Rain

ST. JOSEPH, MO-The Blacksnakes (22-24, 48-46) and Fort Worth Cats (31-14, 56-38) are suspended by rain Friday evening after the first inning. There was no score and the game will be picked up at that point and played until it's nine-inning conclusion before a seven inning nightcap will follow, beginning approximately a half hour after the first game has ended.
The doubleheader night will conclude the Blacksnakes' inaugural campaign with Fan Appreciation Night, beginning at 5:05pm, with the first of two. The âSnakes look to end the season on a positive note with the gates opening at 4pm. Shingo Mitsumori (3-5) will resume the suspended game and Andrew Edwards (2-5) will start the second for the 'Snakes.
