VANCOUVER - The Canadians kept the bats blazing behind Jimmy Heuser as they picked up their fourth straight win against the Spokane Indians on Thursday night. Heuser gave up three hits while striking out six over six innings to improve to 4-3.

Vancouver scored seven times on ten hits off Indian starter Mike Ballard before he left the game after the fifth. Spokane loaded the bases with nobody out in the eighth inning against reliever Keith Eusebio (YOU-SAY-BEE-OH). Eusebio got himself out of trouble with a strikeout and a double play.

Spokane seems to have settled down in this series. They committed only three errors in the night's affair, but haven't been able to solve the Canadians solid pitching.

Vancouver has out-hit Spokane 54-26 and outscored them 37-12 in the first four games of this series. The C's have won four in a row. Salem-Keizer lost to Yakima tonight leaving the Canadians only one game back in the Western Division race.

The two teams meet in the series finale Friday at 1:05 at Nat Bailey Stadium.
