Trailing 2-1 and down to their last out, the Quebec Capitales made one of the more improbable comebacks in baseball. PR Douglas Toro would eventually score to tie the game, 2-2, on an RBI-single by CF Geofrey Tomlinson and moved RF Sebastien Boucher, also aboard with a single to third. From there, Boucher scored on another wild pitch and Quebec closer Jason Schutt held New Jersey scoreless in the bottom of the ninth to preserve the win.
