Brockton Rox News Release
Brockton, Mass. - The Brockton Rox and the Shaw's Center announced on Monday that the facility will host a barbecue open to the public during the Jonas Brothers' Road Dogs softball game at Campanelli Stadium, taking place August 26.
After previous appearances at other ballparks throughout the country, the Road Dogs, comprised of the Jonas Brothers and their traveling staff, will take on players from the Marquis Jet Flyers in a seven-inning game. Gates will open for the event at 10:30 a.m., with the game starting at 12:30 p.m.
Admission to the barbecue will cost $75 per person, and will take place on the Shaw's Center lawn facing the playing field down the left-field line. Food and non-alcoholic beverages are included with the price of admission. Guests purchasing barbecue tickets will also be eligible to win tickets to Thursday evening's Jonas Brothers concert at the Comcast Center, as well as the opportunity to participate in between-innings promotions and throw out the first pitch at the softball game.
Grandstand seating to the game is sold out, but fans can still win tickets through the Rox online newsletter and Facebook page, both of which can be accessed through brocktonrox.com.
Tickets can be purchased through the Rox box office, either in person at Campanelli Stadium, online at brocktonrox.com, or by telephone at (508) 559-7070.
