Worcester 6, Quebec 1
Worcester's offense exploded for five early runs behind the bat of SS Mark Minicozzi, and starter Zach Zuercher shut down Quebec in a 6-1 victory. Minicozzi smacked his 10th home run of the season and knocked in three, as the Tornadoes built a five-run advantage early. Four other Worcester starters collected multiple base hits in the game. From there, Zuercher allowed just four hits and no earned runs in seven innings of work to pick up his fifth win. Reliver Albert Ayala didn't allow a hit or a run over the final two innings to slam the door on the Capitales.
