
Cam Lizotte to Launch New Charity Campaign

(Peterborough, ON)- Peterborough Petes defenceman Cam Lizotte will announce a new charity campaign at a press conference at the Heart and Stroke Foundation Peterborough Office at 824 Clonsilla Ave. on Wednesday, September 23 at 4:30pm.
Lizotte, who has become a fan favourite on defence for the Petes, will share the inspiration behind his new initiative as well as plans for the upcoming season. Additionally, a sponsor for the program, which supports the Heart and Stroke Foundation, will be named.
Lizotte, who is entering his third season with the Petes after attending Toronto Maple Leafs rookie camp this summer, is continuing to take a bigger leadership role on the ice, in the locker room, and in the community.
On the ice, the Petes kick off the 60th season with the home opener against the Ottawa 67's on Thursday, Sept. 24. Fans in attendance will have a chance to win a 2015 Toyota Corolla, season tickets, signed Petes jersey, and more. Tickets are available here, or by calling (705) 743-3561.
