Reading, PA - The Reading Royals of the ECHL today announced that Callaway Golf has been named as the Title Sponsor of the Royals Second Annual 'Swing Into the Season' Charity Golf Tournament. The four-man scramble event, which will be played at Heidelberg Country Club in Bern Township next Monday, October 8, is being held on behalf of the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Greater Pennsylvania, Pottsville Regional Office. The tournament field is filled to capacity with teams of three who will be combined with a player from the Royals' roster to fill out the foursome. Last season, the event was won by Cambridge-Lee Industries with then-Royals' defenseman T.J. Kemp serving as their team representative. As a part of their sponsorship, Callaway Golf will not only provide prizes for the participants, but will also have their demo truck available on the practice range for golfers in the tournament to test out the latest Callaway products.

The Royals' home opener is on Saturday, November 3, 2007, against the Cincinnati Cyclones. Royals' full Season Tickets and Total Choice Flex Plans are now on sale.
