Calla's 2 goals, Bowman's Four points Lead Chiefs

Brady Calla tallied a pair of goals and was one of six Chiefs to hit the score sheet in a 7-2 win over the Everett Silvertips on Wednesday night in the Spokane Arena. Spokane finished their eight game regular season series 7-1, including a perfect 4-0 in the Arena. The Chiefs outscored Everett 19-3 in the series at home.

Spokane tallied four times in the first, including Calla's first of the night 1:01 into the game. Drayson Bowman, who had three helpers on the night, and Stefan Ulmer had the assists. Levko Koper, Ondrej Roman and Tyler Johnson scored at 16:05, 17:26 and 18:09 of the period. Roman's and Johnson's goals came on the power play.

The Chiefs then added three more in the second, a slap shot from Dustin Donaghy and Drayson Bowman unassisted goal chased Everett's Thomas Heemskerk from the goal. Calla's second of the night made it 7-0 at 9:03. Everett scored at 10:56 of the second and added another in the third.

Spokane finished the night 3-9 on the power play and 2-2 on the penalty kill.

The Kelowna Rockets earned a 4-1 win over the Portland Winter Hawks and maintained their lead of one point over the Chiefs for third place in the Western Conference.

Spokane has three games remaining in the regular season; a home and home with the Tri-City Americans Friday and Saturday and Sunday's finale versus the Kelowna Rockets. Friday and Sunday are in the Arena.
