Calgary Hitmen Select a Right Winger and Goaltender in 2010 CHL Import Draft

Calgary, AB - Calgary Hitmen General Manager Kelly Kisio announced today the selection of Dmitrij Jaskin with the 58th overall pick in the 2010 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft.

Jaskin is a 6'1" 196 lbs. right winger who played this past season in the Czech U20 League. With HC Slavia Praha the 17 year-old posted 23 points (13g 10a) in 38 games.

HEIGHT: 6'1" WEIGHT: 196 lbs.

DID YOU KNOW? Jaskin was the first overall pick earlier this month in the 2010 Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) Junior Draft.

In the second round, with the 71st overall selection, the Hitmen drafted 19-year-old goaltender Juraj Holly. The 6'3" 191 lbs. Slovak played in the Czech Junior League last season.
