Calgary Hitmen Force Seventh And Deciding Game With Moose Jaw

Moose Jaw, SK - The Calgary Hitmen and Moose Jaw Warriors will need a seventh and deciding game in their best-of-seven Eastern Conference Quarter-Final Series.

The Hitmen forced the winner take all showdown with a 7-3 victory in Moose Jaw Saturday night.

Calgary built period leads of 2-0 and 4-3 en route to victory with both Del Cowan (2g 2a) and Ian Schultz scoring twice.

Tyler Shattock, Joel Broda and Giffen Nyren added singles while Jimmy Bubnick had three assists.

The Hitmen outshot the Warriors 43-39 with Martin Jones making 36 saves in the victory.

Game 7 will be played Monday night at the Pengrowth Saddledome in Calgary. Game time is 7:00 p.m.
