
Calgary Hitmen Fall 5-2 In Brandon

Brandon, MB - The Brandon Wheat Kings fired 41 shots on goal en route to a 5-2 home ice win over the Calgary Hitmen Friday night.
Edmonton Oilers prospect Toni Rajala (RY-al-ah) scored twice for Brandon who never trailed in the game.
Michael Stone, with his team leading 13th goal, and Ian Schultz with his eighth scored for Calgary.
The turning point came late in the second period when Brandon scored a buzzer beater off a faceoff with 1.1 seconds left to take a 3-2 lead.
The Hitmen are back at home Sunday evening to host the Spokane Chiefs.
The game has been pushed back one hour to a 6:00 p.m. start at the Pengrowth Saddledome.
Doors will open early at 4:30 allowing fans to watch the second half of the Stampeders / Riders CFL Western Final on the Enmax Energy Board prior to the start of the Hitmen game.
