
Calgary Hitmen Extend Winning Streak To Four Games

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Hitmen ran their winning streak to four games with a 2-0 home ice win over the Swift Current Broncos Thursday night.
Martin Jones made 27 saves to record his second straight shutout and 15th of his career.
Tyler Fiddler with his 28th goal of the season in the first period and Matt MacKenzie with his sixth in the third period provided all the scoring the Hitmen would need.
The victory moves the Hitmen three points ahead of the Brandon Wheat Kings for number one overall in the Western Hockey League. Both teams have five games remaining in the regular season.
Calgary returns to action Saturday night in Cranbrook against the Kootenay Ice, before returning home Sunday afternoon (2pm) to host the Saskatoon Blades in the Beattie Homes Hockey Mums Fight Breast Cancer Game.
