
C Yermin Mercedes transferred from Triple-A Charlotte to Winston-Salem

The Chicago White Sox have announced the following roster moves affecting the Winston-Salem Dash:
- C Yermin Mercedes transferred from Triple-A Charlotte to Winston-Salem
- C Daniel Gonzalez placed on the seven-day disabled list
Mercedes was assigned to the Knights from Winston-Salem on May 24, but he did not see any action at the Triple-A level. So far this season, the 25-year-old is hitting .235 with two homers and 10 RBIs during his time in the Dash purple.
Gonzalez went 1-for-3 with an RBI single in his season debut on Friday. Last season, Gonzalez batted .236 with one home run and 10 RBIs with the Dash. This marks his second stint on the DL.
The Dash's current roster stands at 25 players, the Carolina League maximum, with three on the disabled list.
