
C Maldonado to Nashville; C Buller Activated

BIRMINGHAM, AL - The Milwaukee Brewers have made a pair of roster moves that will impact their Double-A affiliate Huntsville Stars prior to tonight's game at Birmingham. Catcher Martin Maldonado has been transferred to Triple-A Nashville. Additionally, catcher Dayton Buller has been activated from the seven-day disabled list.
Maldonado is batting .264 (55-208) in 64 games with Huntsville this season. He's hit 13 doubles and knocked in 34 RBI. He started the season with the Sounds, hitting .267 (12-45) in 14 games.
Buller was placed on the DL back on May 6. He's appeared in 10 games with the Stars this season, going 4-for-29 (.138) with two extra-base hits and five RBI.
With these moves, the Stars active roster stays at 24 with four on the DL.
The Stars continue their five-game road trip to Birmingham tonight at 7:05. RHP Kyle Heckathorn (0-0, 3.63 ERA) will take the mound for the Stars against the Barons' LHP Hector Santiago (4-2, 4.74 ERA).
