
Buycks and Lewis Return to Tulsa

TULSA, Okla., Dec. 22, 2011 - The Tulsa 66ers, proud affiliate of the Oklahoma City Thunder, announced today that guard Dwight Buycks and forward Marcus Lewis have rejoined the team after stints in NBA training camps. To make room for the returning players, the 66ers have waived guard Nolan Richardson.
Buycks, who participated in training camp with the Phoenix Suns, was averaging 12.7 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.5 assists in six games with the 66ers this season.
Lewis, who began his third season in Tulsa before joining the Milwaukee Bucks training camp on Dec. 9, was averaging 15.8 points, 12.7 rebounds (most in the NBA D-League), 2.0 assists and 1.2 steals through six games.
Richardson played in two games and averaged 3.0 minutes with the 66ers this season.
Tulsa's roster now stands at 10 heading into its next contest against the Erie BayHawks on the road this Friday, Dec. 23, at 6 p.m. CT.
