Bighorns Kick off New Year with Events for Kids

RENO, NEV.- The Reno Bighorns will begin the new year with fun events for kids, including Youth Sports Nights and the Reno Bighorns Jr. Dance Clinic on January 3rd and 4th when the Bighorns take on the Fort Wayne Mad Ants at the Reno Events Center.

The Reno Bighorns Jr. Dance Clinic will take place prior to the Bighorns games and will include dance instruction from the Reno Bighorns Dance Team, a halftime performance at the game and a pregame pizza party. The January 3rd clinic will be for children ages 4-10 years old and will take place at the Reno Events Center from 2 to 5 p.m., followed by a pizza party. The January 4th clinic will be for ages 11-18 years old and will be from 1 to 5 p.m., also followed by a pizza party. Registration for the clinic is $30. Youth Sports Nights will celebrate all local youth athletes. Youth athletes 13 and under will receive a free ticket to either or both games when they wear their team jersey. Youth teams who attend the game will get the chance to have their picture taken with Bruno the Bighorn, the Reno Bighorns Dance Team and get a team photo on the Bighorns' court during halftime of the games. The Bighorns next game is Friday, December 23rd against the Idaho Stampede at the Reno Events Center. Fans can purchase holiday special tickets for only $5 for any seat in the bowl. Contact the Reno Bighorns front office at 775-853-8220 to purchase tickets.
