Oklahoma City Barons News Release
Oklahoma City - The Oklahoma City Barons have a busy weekend in store for fans at the Cox Convention Center. The action on the ice against the Charlotte Checkers is just the tip of the iceberg.
Friday night the Barons will offer fans the chance to get a free practice jersey and enjoy $1 hot dogs. The first 2,000 adults and 1,000 kids through the doors will receive a Barons replica practice jersey. Following the game Friday night, six Barons players will be available for autographs on the upper concourse near the team store.
Saturday night the Oklahoma City Barons are giving fans a chance to cross one item off of their shopping list for Thanksgiving: the turkey. After the Barons game Saturday, every fan will have the opportunity to win a turkey from Schwab Meat Company. All fans have to do is sign up during the game, come to the ice after the game and shoot a puck into an empty net from center ice. Winners will earn a certificate for an 8 - 10 pound turkey from Schwab Meat Company.
Faceoff for both games this weekend against the Charlotte Checkers is 7 p.m. inside the Cox Convention Center. Fans can listen to the game Friday night on AM 1000 KTOK and Saturday night on 96.1 KXY. Sunday afternoon, the Barons play the Milwaukee Admirals in Milwaukee at 5 p.m.
