Wichita Thunder News Release
WICHITA, KS- The Wichita Thunder will finally have a busy week, starting with a road game Wednesday Night in Amarillo.
The Thunder has played just eight games over the first 32 days of the season, by far the fewest games played in the CHL. Wichita will return home this weekend to host the Mississippi RiverKings on Friday and the Oklahoma City Blazers on Saturday. Both games face-off at 7:05 p.m.
The Thunder activated forward Ladislav Kouba (KOO-buh) from the 14-day injured reserve today and waived rookie forward Collin Circelli (ser-SELL-ee). Circelli had one assist in eight games. Veteran left wing Jason Duda, on 30-day injured reserve since opening night, resumed skating today and hopes to return in about two weeks.
