Bridgewater, NJ - The Somerset Patriots (64-40) lost 4-2 to the Hartford Yard Goats (62-42) in their Thursday matinee.
Max Burt hit his career-high 10th homer of the season to tie the game in the sixth inning, but the Patriots bullpen ceded the go-ahead run one half-inning later to give Hartford its second and final lead of the game.
Will Warren started the game for Somerset and allowed two runs over six innings on eight hits. The Yard Goats took their initial lead on the first of Daniel Cope's career-high-tying three hits in the game.
Cope's first of two RBI-singles came in the second inning. The second Hartford run came home on a groundout in the fourth.
Emmanuel Ramirez was tagged for the loss, giving up the game-winning double to Isaac Collins in the seventh inning. The hit snapped a 12-game scoreless streak for Ramirez in the Eastern League, the second-longest streak in the league this season.
