On the team's lone tally of the night, Jack Brandt and Diego Johnson picked up assists. The goal came on the power play where Madison was 1/4 on the night. The Capitols held the Green Bay power play scoreless in the contest as well going 4/4 on the penalty kill.

Rainers Rullers was sent to the locker room half way through the third period after being given a major for slashing and a game misconduct that came with it.
