Swanson, Väisänen and Gadzhiev earn league honors for outstanding performances last week

Mac Swanson (Fargo), Joona Väisänen (Dubuque) and Shikhabutdin Gadzhiev (Muskegon) have earned United States Hockey League (USHL) Player of the Week honors for Week 20, the league announced Monday.

1 GP, 3 goals, 4 assists, 7 points, +4, 5 shots on goal in a 12-4 win over Sioux Falls last Friday
Posted first career hat trick which included a power play goal and the game-winning goal in the home victory over the Stampede
Owns a three-game point-scoring streak and had registered 10-17- 27 in his last 16 games played
Ranks fourth in the USHL in scoring with 49 points on 16 goals and 33 assists in 35 games played
Has 14 multiple-point games this season
Listed at #130 in 2024 NHLCS Mid-Year Draft Rankings
