Green Bay, Wis. - After two straight games against the Kenosha Kingfish in Kenosha, the Green Bay Bullfrogs will continue their four-game series against the Kingfish with the final two games coming at Joannes Stadium, beginning on Thursday. Thursday's game will be the start of the final weekend of the regular season for the Bullfrogs, who have just three home games remaining in the 2014 regular season.
On Wednesday night in Kenosha, the Bullfrogs took the second game of the series from the Kingfish as they won a pitcher's duel, 3-0. Green Bay did not score their first run until the eighth inning when Daniel Jackson (Long Beach State) came through with an RBI single to left field that scored Dean Long (Emporia State). The Bullfrogs added one more run in the eighth inning before scoring one more insurance run in the ninth inning. Nathan Disch (Jacksonville) threw a gem on Wednesday for Green Bay as he shut out Kenosha over seven innings while giving up only four hits and striking out seven.
