Green Bay, WI- The Wisconsin Rapids Rafters scored three runs in the top of the ninth inning to defeat the Green Bay Bullfrogs 6-3 on July 27 at Joannes Stadium.

Jeremy Graf suffered the tough-luck loss for the Bullfrogs. He allowed three infield hits and a softly-hit single that dropped into shallow right-centerfield, as Graf's record dropped to 0-2 on the season.

In his first start and second appearance with the Bullfrogs, newly-acquired Austin Hancock finished with six innings pitched and allowed three runs, though none were earned. He struck out a batter with two walks and gave up six hits.

Logan Taylor worked a one-out walk in the bottom of the third before Robb Paller stepped up to the plate. On the third pitch of the at bat, Paller crushed a line-drive home run to the Leinenkugel's Fan Deck in rightfield to put the Bullfrogs on the board.

Wisconsin Rapids scored a pair of unearned runs with two outs in the fourth to tie the game. With runners at the corners, Hancock's error on a pickoff attempt allowed Ryan Cleveland to score. Sam Tolleson singled, and a throwing error by Matthew De La Rosa brought in another run.

The Rafters scored another run on an error in the fifth to take their first lead of the game, but Brian Celsi's run-scoring single tied the game at three in the bottom of the inning.

Jack Mahan threw two scoreless innings with two strikeouts in relief before giving way to Graf in the ninth inning.

The Bullfrogs will conclude their series with the Rafters tomorrow night at 7:05 with a trading card giveaway for fans. Gates will open one hour prior to the first pitch from Joannes Stadium.
