
Major Leagues Dreams Showcase to Feature Six Bullfrogs

Green Bay, WI- On August 4th at the Madison Mallards' Warner Park, six Bullfrogs will showcase their work in front of Major League Baseball Scouts In a two game format.
Representing Green Bay will be Jake Stolley (LHP/Northwestern), Alex Martinez (RHP/De Anza), Ryan Radue (RHP/UConn), Garrett Harrison (LHP/St. Cloud State), Logan Taylor (OF/Louisville), and Ryan Donovan (1B/Lynn).
Garrett Harrison is the Bullfrogs ace. He leads the league with a 1.14ERA in 47 1/3IP. He has a 4-1 record in seven starts, including a scoreless innings streak from June 9-July 12 of 27.1IP. Harrison is a third year Bullfrog and has improved his ERA in each successive campaign. Two of his wins are against first place Kenosha.
Jake Stolley has enriched the reports of scouts everywhere by filling up the strike zone. The 6'5" left-hander has a 2-1/1.18ERA/30 1/3IP slash line. His ERA is best on the team for a pitcher with 10 or more innings. And He has struck out 26 batters next to just 9 walks.
Alex Martinez sports a lively fastball capable of breaking 90MPH. He also has a great slider at times, and has thrown both out of the Bullfrogs bullpen and starting rotation. Martinez was an all-conference player as a pitcher/third baseman at De Anza College under the leadership of Bullfrogs assistant coach, Ryan Van Amburg.
The third Bullfrogs pitcher, Ryan Radue, has transformed as a late innings arm at UConn to the only Bullfrog starting pitcher to have stayed in the rotation, without missing a start, this entire summer. In his last two starts, Radue has tossed 11 1/3IP/4ER/5H/10K. He showcases a 12-6 curve ball with a high-leverage delivery to the plate.
Also a Northwoods League all-star, Ryan Donovan, has been one of the best hitting first baseman in the league. His 6HR/42RBI lead the Bullfrogs. He has an impressive .274/.393/.442 slash line and has also swatted 12 doubles.
And Logan Taylor has dazzled for Green Bay all summer. He finished as the best hitter for the Cardinals on their run to the Super Regionals and has been an extremely impressive lead off hitter for the Bullfrogs. He has had hit streaks of seven, seven, and 13 games. His .311 batting average (42-for-135) is second on the club. He has also swiped 24 bags which is top five in the Northwoods League.
