GLENS FALLS, N.Y. - Hamilton Bulldogs forward Sven Andrighetto had a goal and two assists to lead the `Dogs (10-9-2-0) to a 5-3 win over the Adirondack Flames (12-9-1-0) at Glens Falls Civic Center in Glens Falls, N.Y. on Tuesday evening.

Bulldogs defenceman Darren Dietz opened the scoring at 1:49 of the first period with a slap shot for his second goal of the season, assisted by Andrighetto. Less than six minutes later, defenceman Nathan Beaulieu also notched his second goal of the year with a slap shot, assisted by Andrighetto and forward Charles Hudon, to give Hamilton a 2-0 lead.

Four minutes into the second period, Andrighetto deked out Adirondack goaltender Joni Ortio for his eighth goal of the season on the power play to give the 'Dogs a 3-0 lead. Assists on the play went to forward T.J. Hensick and Beaulieu.

Hamilton forward Christian Thomas scored his sixth goal of the season on a penalty shot at 12:16 of the middle frame to give the 'Dogs a 4-0 lead. Thomas' penalty shot goal was the first for a Bulldog on the road since Kyle Chipchura against the Lake Erie Monsters on April 12, 2008.

Flames forward Ben Hanowski got his club on the board at 15:46 of the second period, with assists from forward Emile Poirier and defenceman Tyler Wotherspoon.

Just over a minute later, Adirondack forward Garnet Hathaway made it a 4-2 game, assisted by forwards Devin Setoguchi and Max Reinhart.

Setoguchi narrowed the gap to 4-3 7:42 into the third period, assisted by defenceman Ryan Culkin.

Bulldogs forward Drayson Bowman potted an empty netter with 1:03 to play for his third goal of the season to seal the victory for Hamilton, 5-3. Forward Gabriel Dumont had an assist.

Joey MacDonald ma de 34 saves on 37 shots for the Bulldogs in the win, while Ortio stopped 20 of 25 shots faced for the Flames in the loss.

Hamilton went 1-for-2 on the power play, while Adirondack was 0-for-4 with a man advantage.
