Bulldogs Shut Out 2-0 By Heat

Abbotsford, BC - The Hamilton Bulldogs were defeated by the Abbotsford Heat 2-0 on Saturday night. Jean-Philippe Lamoureux made 21 saves to earn the shutout while Greg Nemisz scored the game-winning goal in the second period.

Following a scoreless first period, the Heat got on the scoreboard first with a goal at 9:33 of the second stanza while on the power play. Tyler Ruegsegger sent a pass to Greg Nemisz, who was positioned at the right side boards. Nemisz skated towards the net before snapping a shot that beat Hamilton starting goaltender Drew MacIntyre through the legs.

Abbotsford added an empty net marker at 19:05 to seal the win for the Heat. Jon Rheault rang a shot off the post before Gaelan Patterson grabbed the puck and fired it into the empty net.

The Bulldogs will return to the ice on Friday, March 25th for an 8:05 p.m. game in Rockford against the IceHogs. All regular season Hamilton Bulldogs broadcasts on AM 820 CHAM will begin with a pre-game show 30 minutes prior to the scheduled start time.
