
Bucs Beat Sioux City in Front of Sold Out Crowd

Des Moines, Iowa --- The Des Moines Buccaneers came back from an early 3-0 deficit to defeat the Sioux City Musketeers 5-4 in front of a sold out crowd at 95KGGO Arena. The Musketeers racked up three goals within the first 12 minutes of the game to jump on the Bucs early. With less than six minutes left in the first period, Rich Purslow was able to get the Buccaneers on the scoreboard. Kyle Bailey then followed with a goal of his own to make the score 3-2 at the end of the first period. Bucs forward Ben Van Lare tallied two goals in the game. Ben Ryan also netted a goal of his own.
The Buccaneers are back in action at 95KGGO Arena on Saturday, October 14th at 7:00pm against the Omaha Lancers. It will be Des Moines Register's Family Fun Night - 4 tickets, 4 hot dogs, 4 sodas and 4 autographs = $44.
