
Bucks To Battle Rayz Tonight: Seek Fifth Straight Win

LAREDO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League will look to extend their winning streak to five games tonight when they host division foe Corpus Christi at the LEC. Game time is set for 7:30pm.
It's Harley Davidson Biker night, where the first 1,500 fans to enter the game will receive a bandana courtesy of Harley Davidson.

The Bucks (8-1 at home) will look to improve their CHL leading point total tonight when they meet the Rayz for the fourth time this season, and third time in Laredo. The Bucks have won the previous three meetings against the Rayz so far this year by a combined 14-4, winning two at home by scores of 7-0, and 5-4, and taking one in Corpus 2-0.
Laredo is coming off of a hard fought 2-1 win last night in Rio. Paul Elliott scored the game-winning goal with just 2:29 left in the third period to lift the Bucks. It was Elliott's first-ever game winning goal in a Bucks uniform. Dustin Traylen won again last night stopping 25 of 26 Killer Bees shots.
Laredo has two players in the top 10 in scoring as Jeff Bes (14-21=35) leads the CHL with 35 points, while Chris Korchinski (9-15=24) is ninth with 24.
Traylen, who is expected to make his sixth straight start tonight, has won four straight starts in net for Laredo, improving his record to 10-3-1, with a 2.10 goals against average, and a .926 save percentage.
The Rayz, winners of two straight games, are coming off a 4-3 shootout win in Austin last night. Justin Quennville picked up the game-winning goal in the shootout, while goalie Jason Tapp set aside 34 of the 37 Ice Bat shots in the Rayz net.
At 4pm this afternoon the Bucks will hold the third annual bike show presented by Harley Davidson. The event will take place outside of the LEC and will feature top notch motorcycles. Admission to the bike show is $12, and includes a ticket to the Bucks/Rayz game. Also tonight there will be a very special surprise giveaway during the game. Family four pack tickets are available starting at $48.
