The Waterloo Bucks (11-31, 1-6) lost a thrilling 7-6 final to the La Crosse Loggers (23-19, 6-1) on Monday night.
Ethan Ibarra had an outstanding Waterloo debut, going 2-4 with 2 RBI and a run scored. Tate Samuelson (3-5), Trey Leonard (2-5), and Patrick Ferguson (2-5, R, SB) each provided the Bucks with multi-hit games.
The Bucks erased what was once a 5-0 deficit after 4 on a game-tying 2-run single by Ibarra in the seventh.
Waterloo opens a two game road series with St. Cloud on Tuesday night at 7:05 p.m.
