Laredo enters tonight's game tied with Texas for third place in the Southern Conference and have a game in hand on the Brahmas. Texas is off tonight before hosting Laredo on Sunday afternoon.
The Bucks snapped their three-game winless streak with a 3-2 shootout win Friday night in Rio Grande Valley. Laredo clinched a playoff spot in each of their first eight seasons with the victory and thanks to the Brahmas loss to Mississippi moved even with Texas for third place.
Laredo had their four-game home winning streak snapped in Wednesday's 4-1 loss to Corpus. The Bucks are 6-1-2 in their last nine home games.
In November the Bucks won two of three games in Arizona against the Sundogs with both wins coming by one-goal each.
The Bucks will play their seventh straight and final three-in-three this weekend. In all, from January 29th-March 14th the Bucks will play 22 games in 44 days (10 home, 9 away). They are 12-7-4 in that span.
Arizona was eliminated from playoff contention when Corpus beat Laredo Wednesday night. The Sundogs are closing out their three-game South Texas road trip tonight in Laredo as they have gone 1-1 thus far.

The Bucks host Odessa on Saint Patrick's Day (March 17) at the Laredo Entertainment Center. Game time is 7pm.

The Bucks will hold the first annual community job fair presented by Staff Connection on Saturday March 20th at the Laredo Entertainment Center.
The job fair is from 12-5pm followed by a tailgate mixer before the Bucks host Wichita in their regular season finale at the LEC. Admission to the job fair is FREE with applicants getting to meet with around 20 companies that day. For more information call 718-BUCK (2825).
