HIDALGO, TX- The Laredo Bucks of the Central Hockey League take to the road Tuesday night when they take on Rio Grande Valley at the Dodge Arena. Game time is 7:35pm.

The Bucks enter Tuesday's game with the Bees in unfamiliar territory- In second place in the Southeast Division. The Bucks had been in first place since November 28th, but fell out of the top spot Saturday night with a 4-1 loss to Texas .
Laredo has struggled in the last two weeks, going just 1-3-2 in their last six games.
It won't get any easier for the Bucks when they take on the Bees, as Laredo is 0-3 so far this season at the Dodge Arena, including a 1-0 shutout loss in their last trip there on December 22nd.
The Bucks have not just struggled in Rio , as they enter Tuesday's game on a six-game road winless streak (0-3-3). Laredo has not won a game away from the LEC since December 6th when they beat Texas in a shootout 2-1.
Jeff Bes enters Tuesday's game nearing a couple of career milestones. Bes is just three points shy of 500 career CHL points, and seven shy of 900 points in his entire professional career. Bes is third in the league in scoring with 47 points (11-36=47).
Matt Miller has been proved to be a good trade thus far for the Bucks, as he has three goals in five games with the team since coming over from Rapid City on December 21st.
The Killer Bees have slipped into last place in the Southeast Division, going 0-4-1 in their last five games. Rio has not won a game since their 3-0 shutout win over Texas on December 26th.
Jesse Bennefield leads the Bees in scoring with 33 points (16-17=33).
The Bucks will host "Pink in the Rink" on Friday against Bossier. . If the Bucks sell out the game, the team will donate $10,000 to Wings.

The Bucks announced that they will donate $10,000 to Wings if the January 9th "Pink in the Rink" game at the LEC is sold out. If the Bucks sell out the game, the team will donate $10,000 to Wings.
