PENSACOLA, Fla., - The Cincinnati Reds have announced the following roster changes for the Pensacola Blue Wahoos prior to tonight's game against the Chattanooga Lookouts.

- Bryson Smith, OF, has been promoted to Triple-A Louisville

- Phillip Erving, OF, has been promoted from High-A Daytona

Smith, 26, appeared in 25 games for the Blue Wahoos after being transferred from Louisville on July 17. While in Pensacola this season, he hit .284 (27-95) with 12 runs, six doubles, a triple, three home runs, 13 RBIs with four walks and 17 strikeouts. Out for two months with an injury, the Athens, Ga., native started the season in Louisville where he hit .246 in 21 games.

Erving, 23, has played all season with High-A Daytona. He is hitting .242 (98-405) this season with 68 runs, 18 doubles, 12 home runs, 63 RBIs and 53 walks. He has registered a team-leading 30 stolen bases which his career high while in Class-A Dayton in 2014. His 30 stolen bases are tied for the ninth best in Advanced-A ball. According to MLB Pipeline, he is the Reds No. 11 prospect.

The Pensacola Blue Wahoos have 25 active players on the roster.
