Bryan Lerg Recalled To Springfield, Four Thunder Activated

STOCKTON, Calif. - The Stockton Thunder, the proud ECHL affiliate of the National Hockey Leaguefs Edmonton Oilers and American Hockey Leaguefs Springfield Falcons, announced rookie forward Bryan Lerg has been recalled to from Springfield from the Thunder.

In addition, it was announced left wing Adam Huxley, veteran center Craig Valette, right wing Ryan MacMurchy and goaltender Andrew Perugini cleared immigration procedures and have been added to the active roster. Defenseman Neil Petruic was placed on the three-day injured reserve list and the following players were placed on waivers:

Tim Boron (G)

Tom Zanoski (LW)

Lerg, 22, was assigned to the Thunder from Springfield on Oct. 20 and has scored five points (2g-3a) in four ECHL games.

The 5-foot-10, 175-pound forward was signed by the Oilers as a free agent on Apr. 1, 2008 and has appeared in five career AHL games with Springfield, amassing two assists and two penalty minutes. The Livonia, Mich. native previously played all four years (2004-08) of his college career with Michigan State University (NCAA), skating in 169 career games and scoring 128 points (68g-60a).
