Bruins release Pat Aufiero

The Providence Bruins announced today that they have released defenseman Pat Aufiero from his professional tryout agreement. Aufiero, 24, had 2-8-10 totals and 18 PIM in 22 games.

The Bruins visit the Hartford Wolf Pack on Wednesday, December 15 at 7:05 p.m. All the action will be broadcast live on WDDZ AM-550 and online at www.providencebruins.com.

The Bruins return home to host the Springfield Falcons on Friday, December 17 at 7:05 p.m. Friday's game marks the conclusion of the Bruins' Toys for Tots drive. Bruins wives and girlfriends will collect unopened toys in the Dunkin' Donuts Center lobby before the game, to be donated to the U.S. Marine Reserve Corps' Toys for Tots program.
